For those of you who don't know- I work at a pediatric dental office. Ever since working there, I have come to loathe and detest Thursdays.I used to work both mondays and thursdays but my boss has had something against me ever since I told her to stop sending porn to my phone.
Throughout my 9 hour work day, I find little things to keep me from losing it. My favorite distraction is to go through the hundreds of childrens names in our system and log the funniest ones into my day planner. I've made two categories: name originality and awkward spellings. Here are a few that I've found recently.....
Original names:
-Destrilee
-Shalyndria (sounds like a tranny stage name)
-Harley (dog name)
-Karyme (pronounced "crime"and her last name is angel....crime angel???)
-Valantyne
-Piper
-E.D (beside the name,its says "pronouced Eddie")
-Sweet
-Doranelly
-Shy
-Jestiny (I imagine this one being Gloria from the show Modern Family trying to say "Destiny")
-Princess (no joke! What....did her parents let her siblings name her?)
-Jayz (I called him to come back and said "Jays" and his mom came up and was all..."Its pronounced "Jay Z"! Yes, he was black.)
Odd spellings:
-Jhulien (julian)
-Aleksandr (alexander)
-Nikolaus (nichloas)
-Jescey (jessie)
-Jewlyien (julian)
-Kamrun (cameron)
-Kyol (kyle)
I have nothing against trying to be original, but I don't like having to sound out a common name or try not to laugh when I call "Jay Z" back to get his teeth cleaned...poor kid.
